Kathleen Brooks, Harris Connect. Harris Connect helps LEFs use alumni directory information to tap into resources for their schools and community. Kathleen led a luncheon discussion group on alumni.

Marti Fischer, Weston Education Foundation and Marti Fischer Grant Services, leading a luncheon discussion group on Creating a Sustainable Grant Program. Marti also presented a dynamic workshop on Donor Retention: How to Keep Your Donors Happy.

Chris Templeman represents CHET Advisor, which offers the first and only advisor-sold 529 college savings plan that Connecticut sponsors. In addition to offering Connecticut residents the tax features of a 529 plan, it is also professionally managed by The Hartford.

Superintendent Sal Menzo, Gail McCormack, and David Baker represented the Wallingford Education Foundation at the conference.

Barry Weaver from eTapestry, a Blackbaud Solution, presented a workshop on Embracing Technology as a Non-Profit. eTapestry provides online software that helps LEFs manage their donors, process and acknowledge gifts, and report on fundraising progress.
